Saudi Energy Firm Finalises Deal to Sell Australian Project

Fotowatio Renewable Ventures, part of the Saudi-based Abdul Latif Jameel Energy, has signed a deal to sell large-scale solar project in Australia.

The agreement consists of the 100megawatt Clare Solar farm in Australia. Once constructed, it will produce enough energy to power 42,000 homes, more than any other solar project commissions to date in Australia. It will also allow the reduction of about 200,000 tonnes of CO2.
