Bloomberg Stated that Australia Will Be Attractive for Cheap Wind and Solar Power

Affordable wind and solar power will make Australia attractive for many energy-intensive industries within 10-20 years.

Emerging trends will result in a fast uptake of the so-called distributed energy technologies, making Australia one of the most decentralised energy markets in the world.

Small scale solar PVs will be the biggest single source of power generation capacity by 2040, providing 44GW or 31% of the mix. A Bloomberg report said that Solar PVs will take the place of coal as the backbone of Australia’s energy supply.
