Appalachian State University’s Team Sunergy to Assist Chilean Team for the 2017 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge

Team Sunergy is in Australia to give assistance to Chilean solar vehicle Team Antikari as it races across Australia in a 2,000-mile race for the 2017 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge.

Team Sunergy left Boone on September 29th and will help team Antikari on electrical engineering challenges while learning about the race. Team Sunergy is planning to compete in 2019 as reported by The University News. 

The BWSC has been widely recognised as the world’s premier innovation challenge. Teams from around the world develop innovative technologies and test them under rough conditions with the goal of enhancing marketable solar-powered electric vehicle technology.
