Public support for renewable energy remains high despite attempts from certain parts of the Australian government, alongside efforts of the country’s coal and gas industries, this is according to new polling that was published last week.
According to the independent think-tank, The Australia Institute found that 67% of Australians believe the country is switching to renewable energy too slowly. This also includes 35% who responded by saying the country was moving very slowly. Only 9% of the 1420 respondents thought the country was moving too fast. In fact, the poll found the majority from every Australian state and of voters from all parties stated the move was happening very slowly.
