Australian Electricity retailer Flow Power has signed a PPA with Olam Orchards Australia to supply renewable energy from the 240-megawatt Ararat wind farm in Victoria as reported by reNews.
Flow power signed an agreement last year to source 50 megawatts of electricity from the Ararat wind farm to supply corporate PPAs to other power companies.
The Ararat Wind Farm has been in operation since April 2016 and uses General Electric 3.2-103 hardware. The farm was built by General Electric and Downer while OPTrust, RES and Partners Group financed the project.
