Golden Invest and Jolywood Solar Technology Signed Agreement For Australian Solar Projects

Jolywood Solar Technology of China has signed an agreement with Golden Invest of Australia to develop solar projects in Australia as reported by Power Technology.

Jolywood is involved in the research, development and mass production of N-type bifacial solar cells, which will be offered to Australian local energy projects. The new technology will bring great opportunities to the Australian solar industry.

The Chinese solar tech firm noted that the N-type bifacial solar cells will:

  • Enhance resistance to light induced degradation (LID)
  • Maintain better performance under weak light
  • And will be more affordable as compared to other types of solar cells.

The first joint project that was completed in Renmark, South Australia generates 248 kilowatts of electricity using the Jolywood N-type bifacial cells.
