Sunshine Energy Australia Planning 1.5GW Solar Farm with Battery Energy Storage

Sunshine Energy Australia has applied for a 1.5 gigawatts solar farm with provisions of battery energy storage. The solar farm would be spread across 2,055 hectares located along the D’Aguilar Highway as reported by PV Tech

The application has been referred to various government departments and agencies for their input and we will carefully assess it against our planning scheme like any other proposal.

Another project currently under construction is the Sunrayasia 250 megawatts solar project. This project is touted to be one of the largest in Australia.
